UV LAMPS
Ultraviolet lamps are very simple, in the fact that they do one thing, and they do
it well.  They significantly reduce airborne bacteria, and mold spores.  And this
will make your world inside your home a lot better if you suffer those types of
allergy sensitivities.  Even if you don’t have allergies, it will still make a clean,
difference in the air that you breathe.

There are two different types of UV lamp operations.
One is the UV lamp over the air conditioner evaporator coil that sits above your
furnace, and the other is the UV lamp that sits in your ductwork before the air
filter.  The one above your evaporator coil significantly reduces mold spores,
and the UV lamp in your ductwork significantly reduces airborne bacteria.  It is
best if you install both types, but even just one will make an impact.

There is no extra work necessary to perform on the UV lamps after installation.
The lamp assemblies either come with a lamp replacement indication light or the
manufactures recommendation to replace the lamp annually for optimal affect.
Only the UV lamp is made to be replaceable as necessary.
